TechCrunch Disrupt lands at Moscone West, Oct 13-15. Back-to-back with Fleet Week for a two-week tech and airshow run.
December
Nutcracker season. SF Ballet stages the original American Nutcracker at the War Memorial Opera House through late December.
New Year's Eve fireworks over the bay at midnight, best from the Embarcadero. End the year on the waterfront.
Jan 2027
JPM Healthcare Week takes over Union Square, Jan 11-14. The year's biggest healthcare meeting; book far ahead or plan around it.
SF Sketchfest runs Jan 14-31, with headline comedy and odd one-off shows in venues across the city.
Feb 2027
Chinese New Year Parade on Feb 20, Year of the Ram. The largest lunar new year celebration outside Asia, capped by the illuminated night parade through Chinatown.
Gray whale season. Peak migration passes the coast; Point Reyes day trips deliver. The city is at its quietest, best-value stretch.
